Is Frights’n Lights scary for young children?
Frights’n Lights is designed to be a family fun Halloween event with just the right amount of silly and spooky, bridging the gap between basic pumpkin patches and horrific haunted houses. While we can’t guarantee there won’t be a few subtle scares, we put FUN before FEAR.
Where is Frights'n Lights located?
Frights’n Lights is located in Frisco, TX at Riders Field (formerly Dr Pepper Ballpark).
Address: 7300 Roughriders Trail, Frisco, TX.
What time do you open?
Opening and closing times vary by day. Please check our operating calendar for details HERE.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking is $5 for this Halloween event. We accept credit and debit cards, but no cash.
Where do I park?
Parking is in PARKING GARAGE F. Follow the directions below and the on-site signs to the designated parking lot.
* From the West (Lewisville and The Colony): Travel east on State Highway 121 and exit at Dallas Parkway. Turn left on Dallas Parkway and turn right on Diamond Drive after approximately 0.4 miles.
* Alternate Route from the West: Exit State Highway 121 and turn left on Legacy. Proceed north on Legacy to Warren Parkway. Turn right on Warren Parkway. Turn right on Parkwood Boulevard. After crossing Gaylord Parkway, look for signs directing you to the appropriate lot, which will be on your right.
* From the North (Prosper and Celina): Follow the Dallas North Tollway to Gaylord Parkway. Turn left onto Gaylord, pass under the tollway and turn right on Avenue of the Stars.
* From the East (McKinney and Allen): Travel west on State Highway 121 and exit at Parkwood Boulevard. Turn right on Parkwood. Turn left at the first light (John Q. Hammons Drive).
* From the South (Dallas): Travel north on the Dallas North Tollway and exit at Gaylord Parkway. Turn right on Gaylord, then right on Avenue of the Stars.
Can I purchase tickets the day of the show at the location?
Yes, but we highly recommend that you purchase tickets online, ahead of time. Prices online are cheaper than at our Box Office. If you plan on purchasing a VIP upgrade, you must purchase online in advance due to limited quantities being available.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Credit and Debit. We do not accept cash at our Box Office.
Can my tickets be exchanged or refunded?
Before purchasing please note that all sales are final. No Refunds will be be issued including due to inclement weather, unless Frights' n Lights has been closed for the evening.
What ticket do I need to purchase for my family?
Each adult must purchase an Adult General Admission ticket and each child (3 and over) must purchase a Child General Admission Ticket. Children under 3 may accompany parents at no charge.
Is the Trick-or-Treat Trail included with a General Admission ticket?
No. The Trick-or-Treat Trail (the best place to trick-or-treat in Texas) is an ADD-ON experience for which a separate ticket may be purchased.
Who can purchase a Trick-or-Treat Trail ticket?
The Trick-or-Treat Trail is recommended for children ages 3 or above, although anyone may purchase a ticket. Parents who are accompanying their children DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE and may accompany their children at no charge. If your child is under 3 and wishes to participate, you will need to purchase a Trick-or-Treat Trail ticket for them, although under 3's do not require a General Admission ticket into the park.
What is the Trick-or-Treat Trail Experience?
As families explore the Frights’n Lights Halloween event, children may collect sweet treats at 12 interactive candy stations scattered throughout the trail. Bags are provided.
Does my child need to wear a costume to participate?
No. Come as you are or come in disguise. Costumes are optional (but lots of fun)!
Is the VIP Experience an ADD-ON ticket?
Yes, the VIP Experience is an upgraded experience. All members of the family ages 3 and above must first purchase a General Admission Ticket.
Parents do not need to purchase a VIP ticket and may accompany children on the VIP Experience at no charge. Any member of the family wishing to receive the VIP goodies such as souvenir cups with Halloween punch, cookie, necklace, Scavenger Hunt etc. must purchase a ticket.
Family consists of two parents, a child age 10 and a child age 5.
Tickets needed: 4 x General Admission. 2 x VIP (for the children)
Family consists of two parents, a child age 3 and a child age 2 who wants to participate in the VIP experience.
Tickets needed: 3 x General Admission (under 3's are free), 2 x VIP tickets (for the children)
Family consists of one parent, one child age 11 and one child age 1 who does not want to participate.
Tickets needed: 2 x General Admission (under 3 is free) 1 x VIP ( parent and 1 year old are accompanying but not participating).
If I want to ADD-ON the VIP Experience, do I need a Trick-or-Treat Trail Ticket also?
No. The Trick-or-Treat Trail is INCLUDED in the VIP Experience.
What does the VIP Experience include?
Separate VIP entrance to the Frights'n Lights Halloween event. See map for location. When walking from the parking garage towards the Box Office look for our VIP Entrance signs.
Trick-or-Treat Trail with 12 interactive candy stations.
Halloween Cookie (one per child).
Admission to Family VIP lounge (rest area with family movies and food/beverage options for purchase).
Meet & Greet and photo op with our mascot, Frank N. Shine! (You may take photos on your own phone or camera).
Adventure Scavenger Hunt- Frank N. Shine's Mad Monster Hunt. Find clues and solve puzzles hidden among the lanterns to save Halloween!
Halloween non- alcoholic punch in a souvenir Frights'n Lights Pumpkin Cup (one per child)
Souvenir Glow Necklace (one per child).
10% discount on retail items.
Are food and beverages included with the VIP ticket?
Other than a cookie and Halloween punch in a souvenir Frights’n Lights cup, food and drinks are not included but may be purchased separately.
Will there be food and beverages to purchase at Frights’n Lights?
Yes, we have food, drinks and grab-and-go fun items to purchase throughout the park including special Halloween Slushies and monstrous menu items!
Are pets allowed?
Although we LOVE fur babies, due to the electrical involved in lighting certain elements of the attraction, we do not allow pets for their own safety. We do however make an exception for service animals and allow them into the event.
Do you have a pumpkin patch so I can take family photographs?
YES! Our patch contains over 5000 pumpkins for the perfect Fall family portrait. All of them may be purchased if you want to take one to go! We also have a craft area where smaller pumpkins can be painted and personalized.
What is the Headless Horseman’s Haunted Hay Maze?
As the name suggests, this is a fun and interactive hay maze featuring lighting, sound and smoke effects based around the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by American author Washington Irving.
You might lose your way, but the Horseman promises us you won't lose your head.
Is it too scary for children?
Our Maze was designed as a family fun Halloween event with just the right amount of silly and spooky. Everything we create makes Frights’n Lights is with this goal in mind. While we can’t guarantee there won’t be a few subtle scares, we put FUN before FEAR.
Will restrooms be available?
Yes, Riders Field has a large number of restroom facilities.
Will Frights’n Lights be open even if the weather is bad?
Our goal is to open Frights’n Lights regardless of inclement weather. However, if we are concerned about extremely hazardous weather, we will not open for the safety of our guests. Please check our Facebook page and Instagram story for updates.
Are there any special requirements for Covid?
Frights’n Lights Frisco is committed to the health and safety of our guests and staff. We encourage guests to respect social distancing and will have hand sanitation stations throughout the event. Masks are voluntary.
